Dandelion meadows

I'm thinking lazy hot summer days. Lying in a field with a bottle of homemade lemonade and a nice man/sandwich/cat by my side (take your pick, I'd rather have the cat!). Anyway that's what my inspiration was for this card.

The gorgeous background stamp I used is called Dandelion Frame and the dragonflys are from the Antique Engravings set both by Hero Arts. I used Brilliance inks to stamp them and then chalked in some soft colours after. I also used a Sakura Stardust clear pen to sparkle the wings of the dragonflys.

Oh I added pearls to the centre of the dandelions. Would be nice if you really did find pearls in their centres. Maybe people wouldn't rip them out of the ground so fast. I love to see dandelions but people who love grass lawns don't like them. I'd rather have dandelions than grass lawns any day.

We had 2 gorgeous warm days in a row! Amazing! Friday and Saturday were really nice. I'm sure the sun is healing in many ways. It definitely made me feel stronger and happier too.

Thanks for stopping by..,
