In the July issue of Cardmaking and Papercrafting, I got a free paper stack with some really nice paper. I really liked this pink paper so I used it for the background for this card. I also got free ribbon to go with it. I didn't want to detract too much from the paper by adding too much. So I stamped, embossed and cut out a little owl from Hero Arts set 'Four Stylish Owls' (LP131).
And then the cutest thing .... I punched out the teeniest tiniest tag you ever did see and stamped '4 You' (Stampin Up Tiny Tags) on it. Then spent quite a long time making a teeeeeny hole and threading a piece of cotton through so it is hanging from the Owl's wing.
Quite hard to get a close up. And cutting that owl out carefully without chopping off his legs and antenna wasn't easy but he's so cute, you just gotta be careful. I coloured him in with distress marker Broken China, using my waterbrush
And after all that effort, I signed and then stamped this on the back
And if you love that stamp, you can get it at
Catslife Press.
Thanks for stopping by ....
